GameStop - 6784 - Oak Harbor

Went in to buy a pack of pokemon cards for my son, and was pressured heavily to get their gamestop membership. I had to fight to say no. Came back 3 months later as my son wanted another pack for his birthday and they would not take no for an answer. I have never been more uncomfortable in my life shopping at a store. I'm not sure if this is a GameStop policy or the specific store but if you don't have a membership, get an excuse ready or you will feel horrible the entire transaction. When I say no, it means no. Leave me alone. I'll NEVER come back to this shop.

Doug is super cool very hard working. Whole store packed full of people and he’s multitasking like a pro. Game stores need more people like Doug he’s very knowledgeable with all the game consoles.

Charmaine was very thoughtful and helpful!! She treated my granddaughter with such kindness. As she was opening new products, she called us over to look at minecraft ice cube squishies! Perfect and so cool, no need for needohs! Thanks Charmaine! 😎

The manager of this store has done a fantastic job, Restructuring the store, has done a great job, trying to stay on top of new releases and has really done a great job as far as being personable, he remembers my name as well as my wife and son’s names. And overall the store just looks and functions better.

Most of the staff is great, and they have a great selection, but there is one woman with reddish hair that has a really horrible attitude and is quite rude. If you go here, stay away from her.
