GameStop - 648 - Baytown Central

Short haired lady was rude to my daughter and I when we arrived 20 minutes before closing. We just wanted to buy one thing it literally took us 30 seconds we were in and out, but she was super rude about us shopping there. Won't be back she sucks

In the past I would come here because the staff was friendly and prices on Pokemon was reasonable. Now I don’t dare buy Pokemon cards at any GameStop. The prices are worse than most resale tcg stores and half the time this location is closed because of staffing issues.

Just in the past 2 weeks, they’ve been closing early, opening late (I’m not sure if on company time & company is unaware), the service has been horrible ever since Allister and that crew quit. It has truly gone downhill, and that doesn’t even include the crazy TCG price increase. Update: went yesterday (6/8) at 635pm. The employee welcomes us then proceeds to announce to us that she closes at 7pm and does not do transactions the last 15 minutes. Since when???? WTH is going on with this place

Went to this location a few days ago,tried to purchase a pre-owned game and when the girl working there scanned it,she charge it as new game ,when clearly it had pre-owned and had a different price sticker in the box and when asked about the price she said oh this morning the manager changed the price so I can't sell it for the price on the box,im like well if the change was made this morning why is it still on the shelves with a pre-owned price? she said I can't sell it ,so be aware of this location and check they are giving you the right price and not scanning a different one

Went on a Sunday and there was a long line because there was only one worker. She was telling us that her manager has told her that she has permission to hire more people but the manager thinks they dont need the help when the poor girl clearly needed it. Also, I'm outside of the store at the moment and its closed. It's 6:25 pm. and I can see the worker just sitting in a truck. Even if it's her lunch, maybe hire more people to keep the store open during hours of operation.
