GameStop - 6217 - Sumter Crossing

Stood in front of a glass cabinet while 3-4 employees relaxed behind the counter chatting. Was never greeted, was never asked if we needed any help. After being ignored for a few minutes we had to interrupt their conversation to get one to finally come over to open the case. No apology offer for the wait, no customer service etiquette whatsoever. Last time shopping at this location.

I do not recommend shopping at this GameStop. Horrible customer service and poor communication on how GameStop’s warranty’s work. Could not even provide me with any type of documented warranty information. Never spending another dime at this location!

Do not purchase anything from this store. The store employee attempted to make me purchase a warranty on a Nintendo Switch 2 and when I declined I was not allowed to purchase it. This is not Gamestop policy as I have confirmed it with corporate and I purchased the console at a different Gamestop location with no problem! I will never purchase anything from the Sumter location.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We traded in our switch’s for the switch 2s and we were able to transfer everything over in store. We also frequently come in to buy pokemon cards. They make collecting fun again. It’s nice to talk to other people who enjoy the same things we do!

I get games cheap here and other stuff. Love it 😍
