GameStop - 606 - Rosedale Commons

This GameStop sold me a broken "quality" pre-owned controller. It did not work and their policy wouldn't allow for a refund. $40 wasted, thanks for scamming.

I tried to come in, the doors were locked but there are plenty of ppl inside. I stayed waiting along with two other customers and when someone left the store and opened the door they informed us that we can’t come in cause “they are taking a break” Now i understand and i feel for the employees but i really did not appreciate being left waiting outside especially after driving 20 mins at 4 PM. Whoever is managing this specific gamestop should realize how bad this is, i was going in to buy at least 3 nintendo switch games. The lady that was waiting with me were coming in to buy a PlayStation 5. That move single handedly lost the store at least a thousand dollars in profits, along with my trust. God bless, hope they do better

Had a great experience yesterday with the staff. They were really kind and the store was pleasant and organized. This will be my go to GameStop in the area.

Employee to forget to “check the back” for an item that they had behind the counter, she was gone for 20 minutes and when she came back she told me she was busy CHATTING in the back. When she came back and started checking me out, she continuously kept pressuring me to sign up for stuff despite me saying no and that i was in a hurry FIVE SEPARATE TIMES! I went in to quickly grab a new controller when i was in the area and i was surly mistaken. Don’t come here if you need something quick cause the staff has no problem with taking as much time as possible to help guests even when they have a line out the door.

Athena was very patient and helpful after I made multiple trips because I’m an idiot and didn’t know I had to transfer everything from the old console to the new one. I was frustrated but it was mostly the situation and myself bit Athen was understanding. I only subtracted one star bc the new switch came with a bad charger but Athena fixed it as soon as possible in a professional manner. Thank you again Athena! 🥹🙏🏼
