GameStop - 5911 - Waynesville Commons

I went in to buy a gift. I mentioned it was a gift. The teenager at the counter demanded that persons phone number, which I didn't have. I was happy to give my phone number but she wouldn't let me. She ended up pulling the product back across the counter like I was going to steal it! I left empty handed. And this is like, probably my in my top 5 experiences dealing with this company.

The selection of games and collectibles at this GameStop is pretty solid, and the staff is usually friendly and helpful. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes the store can get a bit cluttered, making it harder to find what I'm looking for. Overall, it's a decent place to satisfy your gaming needs, just a bit of organization would go a long way.

I stopped by the Waynesville, NC Gamestop to see if there were any new Funko Pops. Not only did i find a Marvel Legends LE, I also found out they carry Thrilljoy Pix !!! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They let me know how easy it is to pre-order items of interest. This is one of the best run Game Stops i’ve been to in quite some time. Thank you!

The employees lie and I’m pretty sure either buy all the product or steal it who knows. My boys love Pokémon and want cards. We went previously and were told they had them in and they were organizing the store. We understood and waited 2 weeks now. We asked a different employee today and she claimed there wouldn’t be any until the 30th. The other employee working said they checked them in and she kept insisting it was her store and she knew. There was even another young boy there asking questions about the cards and she rudely answered his questions as well. Like she knew she took them all. It’s a shame to hog all the products customers are looking for. No wonder this game stop doesn’t see a lot of foot traffic

Tashya was amazing as always! We came in just to take a peek and ended up getting some Pokémon cards and pops. She always strikes up pleasant conversation and gives us helpful information, we can’t wait for our next visit and hope to see everyone soon!
