GameStop - 5708 - West Oglethorpe Hwy Hinesville

Usually this GameStop is great to visit in the couple times I've been here. Not sure what has happened. Was interested in a Gameboy advance they had in the case and asked to see it so I could inspect the condition of it and make sure that the case that was on it was authentic and not a reshell. The, I'm assuming, supervisor said I could only look at the device outside the case if I paid for it first and refused to let me see it. Such a joke. This isn't a new device in a sealed package. It's a retro game system device. Not asking for anything unreasonable. Terrible service and experience. Don't get me started on the scalping of cards GameStop is doing now. Won't visit this location again.

They are very disrespectful They say sell you a warranty replacement on Xbox 360 then you call them up to see if they can help you find out way your Xbox360 is turning off and they talk to you like a piece of trash. Do not waste your time going to James top in hindsight, Georgia, they are very disrespectful and do not want to honor their agreement. If they sell you a warranty, don't get it, they will not honor it. It'll be a waste of your time and your money

Guess you have to look like a gamer to have good service. But if you don't they just roll their eyes at you. Sorry I don't look like a generic gamer with a bull ring and rainbow hair or whatever you expect gamer women to look like. God forbid a female looks normal that games I miss fort Stewart GameStop. At least they gave me good service every time

I cannot for the life of me remember the ladies name who helped me on 5/13 but she is the perfect person for the job. I believe it was Cassidy? Or maybe melody ? I work in customer service and I know sometimes it’s hard to greet everyone with love and happiness but she did. I know it’s small but little things like that can make or break someone who’s having a bad day. Thank you for assisting me with my trade in and thank you making me feel human.

Came in to trade my Xbox series s for a Nintendo switch 2, I didnt catch her name but she wears a Pokémon hat, she tells me that my Xbox needs an update and I need to go home to update it before I can trade it in, all the info you need is on google, it is gamestops policy to update and wipe the console, she made me drive 25 mins home and 25 mins back before I could trade it in, also she is very rude and just seems like she hates her job, I do not recommend this GameStop to anyone, if you don’t wanna work don’t come to work. Simple, don’t inconvenience people’s day because you don’t wanna do your job. Honestly very frustrating,
