GameStop - 5193 - Shops at Whitestone

Jullian was awesome! Customer service over the phone was awesome and he knew BALL! (I’m on the hunt for ps3 game he was well versed) definitely recommend a phone call if you’re looking for something!

Just had a very helpful shopping experience! I am on a very last-minute hunt for a specific birthday gift. The Game Stop on Walton Way was my 3rd attempt to find a retailer with this item in stock. While they did not have the device I was looking for, they took the time to populate and print a list with Game Stops in the area that showed it in-stock. The list was sorted by distance and had all the store information on it. The Saturday afternoon team at this location saved the day!

Another incredibly disappointing trip to GameStop. I’m not going to drum on about the entire experience except to say that being rude does not make you cool. And to GameStop as a whole, pay your staff more and drop the impossible sales metrics and maybe you’ll have better and happier employees. Happy employees might just lead to some real business in these empty stores. Last thing. If you hate your job so much, find another one and stop blaming others for your miserable existence.

Don’t shop here if you’re shopping for any of the new release pokemon and you want a fair advantage to get a promo card. They let people loop around as many times as they want. Sure it’s great if you’re the one looping around but what about the ones that are just trying to score a single promo card?? The guy behind the counter wanted to ignore me and not look me in the eyes when I questioned them letting customers loop around. Absolutely ridiculous and worst customer service I’ve experienced in a GameStop!

2nd time in about 10 days where we drove in to the store and its locked up. This time, there's a sign saying they'd be back at 4:20. So we waited. Its now 4:35, and its locked down as shown. Gamestop just lost a great customer!! Id rather go across the street and buy my cards at Walmart where they're open during their posted hours. And now a 3rd time ive tried to visit my local Game stop only to be surprised with it being closed. 12/13/25.
