Went in to see how much my trade in was worth and store employee Robert was rude the entire time shaking his head and rolling his eyes I usually ignore this type of behavior because its not really worth talking about but he was excessively rude not a good reflection on how customer service should be avoid this store and go to a better one for decent customer service

Employee Robert has an attitude and was rude. You don't feel like helping don't work in retail!

I recently visited GameStop today May 21, 2026 about 3:30pm and worked with an employee named Robert regarding trading in my Wii. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was very disappointing from the moment I walked in. When I asked where to set up the Wii for the trade-in process, instead of helping or even walking over, he just stood there and pointed like I was expected to figure everything out myself. Throughout the interaction, his attitude was unfriendly and dismissive. During the process, he received a phone call, became visibly upset, and slammed a book down in frustration. The overall energy and attitude made the experience uncomfortable. I understand people can have bad days, but customers should still be treated respectfully and professionally. This was not great customer service honestly, not even good customer service.

Robert was very rude. Starting with the guy in front of me the gentleman had questions he was very short and pushy to get him out the store after he spent over 350$. Then when i asked a question he just disregarded what i asked and was pushy towards me as well. Robert. If u don't wanna work for 7.25 a hour then please leave gamestop.

A few years ago my husband bought a used controller from them. We got it home, 5 minutes away, and it didn't work. We took it back immediately and were told they wouldn't exchange it and tried to accuse us of switching it for one we already had at home. I thought I'd give them another shot as it has been a few years but I was disappointed again with their service and low selection. The employee was rather lazy. Poor customer service. Instead of showing an older gentleman where an item was he pointed. When we told the man he could use his phone charge cord in lieu of a Playstation brand charger the employee started to argue with us.
