Do not submit your PSA cards here!!! Store damaged a card I was grading showed me a picture where the damage didn’t match and said there’s nothing they can do. The manager went on to say it’s card board get over it.

Last night, a very kind bearded gentleman at the Hamilton Square store helped my partner find the perfect controller. He was polite, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest—he didn’t try to upsell us to a more expensive option, instead focusing on what would work best for her. He was genuinely enthusiastic about the “science” behind controllers, which made the experience both helpful and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back for future purchases.

GameStop has long been a staple for gamers, offering a mix of new and pre-owned video games, consoles, accessories, collectibles, and more. Over the years, my experience with the store has been a mix of nostalgia, convenience, and, at times, frustration. One of the most appealing aspects of GameStop is its selection of pre-owned games and systems. Being able to pick up a used game at a discounted price or trade in old titles for store credit adds real value, especially for budget-conscious gamers. Their trade-in program, while useful, can be hit-or-miss—sometimes offering fair prices, other times noticeably less than what items are worth on the resale market. In-store staff are usually knowledgeable and passionate about games, which creates a fun, community-like atmosphere. They’re often willing to talk about new releases, recommend titles, or help troubleshoot minor console issues. However, GameStop’s inventory can vary significantly by location, and stock for newer consoles or high-demand games can be limited. The website is functional, though I’ve experienced delayed shipping and order cancellations in the past. GameStop’s increasing focus on collectibles, Funko Pops, and apparel reflects a broader strategy to stay relevant. It’s not just about games anymore, and depending on what you’re looking for, that can be a good or bad thing. Overall, GameStop still holds a unique place in gaming culture—especially for those who enjoy browsing shelves and connecting with fellow gamers—but it's no longer the one-stop shop it used to be.

Terrible business with terrible ethics. They force and try to upsell you every service and warranty without taking no for an answer. I had to say no 8 times for them to finally understand I just want to purchase my controller and game not their 16 add ons. Very unethical how they don't understand the word no. I don't recommend, if you do go make sure you are ready to say no 100 times before they understand !

Today, I went with my children to the store. And I had a remarkably positive experience with David and also with the Manager. They truly went above and beyond to ensure a seamless shopping experience. I highly appreciate their dedication to customer service. I'm a happy Mom as long as my kids are happy, and I owe it to the both of you.👏👏
