GameStop - 4678 - Garrison Forest Plaza

Whoever manages this location of GameStop has to have had some kind of a head injury. I’ve never been to a store where they have folding tables and chairs set up in the front of the store so that when people are sitting there, nobody can actually get into the actual store to buy anything. I happen to be there on a day where there were 6 to 8 people sitting around tables at the front of the store and you couldn’t get by anybody to actually buy what you were there for. I got tired of waiting in a single file line to walk by people and just went to a different location.

Initially pleasant experience turned sour. They charged me twice for a 3pk of trading cards and I didn't notice until it was too late. Due to their refund policy not allowing any refunds for trading cards, I was forced to take another 3pk rather than get my money back. Maybe this is why I don't go to Gamestops anymore.

Been here 20 or so times and I just came in with my son to pick up Crimson Desert. Zach has helped me everytime I’ve been here. He’s amazing at his job and very informative and polite. Give that man a raise plus he seems to be the only one that works there for years. Thanks again Zach :)

Do not buy gift cards from game stop. Especially this location. I bought a gift card for $100 on 12/17 for my nephew for Christmas. I gave it to him on 1/1. When he tried to used it, it said the card was not activated. We emailed Sony on 1/3. On 1/8 they said the card was not activated. The next day I was told by Zack, the game stop store manager, that there was nothing that could be done and “this happens all the time”. I believe Alyssa, the cashier who rang me up switched the gift card I purchased with another card that was not activated. I am waiting to hear back from my bank. If you buy a gift card make sure it is activated before leaving the store.

Really nice people there! Just picked up a destined rivals booster bundle for Pokémon which you normally can't find anywhere, but with the new policy I could grab one with ease $40 and got a nice full art/ illustration (not sure which one) overall a very nice experience tho I haven't bought since 3ds came out lol. Overview: Nice people, decent prices nice conversation with the workers, it deserves all the 5 stars it's getting!
