Horrible customer service. My partner was so excited to buy a fnaf keychain and waited for the cashier. There was another employee standing by doing nothing by hist cash register so she asked if she could pay there. He then asked with a rude tone if there was something he can help with and she stated she just wanted to pay. And he got aggressive and he said in a loud voice that's why I asked you if need help with something. She felt so taken aback and scared. How can someone work for customer service and speak to their clients like that. The name that appeared on the payment screen was Robert C. I suggest you hire or teach your employees to be courteous and respectful to the clients.

Hello, I hope management sees this. Today, 7/2/26, at around 12:30 PM, I visited this GameStop to buy an Xbox controller. Benjamin helped me at first, and he was friendly and informative. I was planning to buy a used Xbox controller for about $53, and he recommended adding the one year warranty for $12 in case anything happened to it. After thinking about it, I decided to buy a brand new controller instead since it was only a few dollars more. Once I made that decision, his attitude seemed to change. When I received my receipt and said “thank you,” he came across as rude and unfriendly. At the end of the day, it’s my money and my choice how I spend it. I appreciate the help I received initially, but I don’t think a customer should be treated differently because they choose a different product or decline an additional purchase.

I know gamestop employees need to be a little pushy with suggesting the warranties and the 25$ pro plan or whatever but this place I had to say "No, I dont want any of that" way too many times, and then when I look at my total right before I'm gonna tap my card I notice that its five more dollars than what it should be and I ask "you said the game is 50$, why is the total here 58". And they respond "Oh, thats just tax and stuff ya know". And I reply "Tax is not 8 dollars". And then they grunt and click something and five dollars diaappears. Clearly they were just trying to sneak in a warranty or something even though I said no multiple times. Also there games are never sorted anywhere close to alphabetically and I had to wait 20 minutes just to get to the front of the line because a cashier needed to talk about pokemon with a customer for way too long.

They were very nice people there. I was asking questions what there were like Pokémon cards for my son and they helped us very much. Just the prices were too much for some of them, but I got my son very good Pokémon cards.

The good: the Xbox controller I wanted was easy to find, and I received immediate attention when I walked into the store. The bad: a $15.99 extended warranty was added to my purchase without asking for my permission first. When I questioned it, I was told the controller is prone to stick drift and that once I opened the box there would basically be no warranty coverage, which felt misleading since Microsoft already provides a manufacturer warranty. I understand offering extended warranties, but customers should first be asked if they want the additional coverage and informed about the existing manufacturer warranty before extra charges are added.
