On may 24th me and my husband brought his PlayStation 5 to sell . The lady at the counter had nothing but a disrespectful attitude from the start of us walking into the store and to the counter . When she was looking at the ps5 and checking it out she was man handling it and tossing it on the counter like it was nothing and continuously Hitting the buttons on the pa5 . She then put a disk into it and she jammed it . She said she couldn’t get the disk out . I asked her for a manager because I was not leaving the store with a broken ps5 because of her . Nothing but nasty attitude from both of the employees. This girl wa slamming a $500 + system around on the counter and continued to keep pushing the buttons like she was trying to break it . They are rude at this location. They tried to say the ps5 was worthless and they offered us a $104 . There was nothing went with the system when we brought it in. The employees at this location are nothing but rude and straight up ignorant. I highly suggest everyone to stay away from this location. You should NEVER treat a customer this disrespectful especially tossing a $500 + system around on the counter like it’s garbage. Took the system elsewhere and got $190 . The guy that was working with this ignorant girl was also very rude and ignorant. He said because the system was “reset “ it won’t read disks which is not true at all . They have no idea what they are doing . They are very rude and disrespectful towards their customers . We will NEVER step into this store again . It was the WORST experience we have ever dealt with. NEVER AGAIN !

Absolutely terrible experience. I was basically robbed of $100 and no one seems to care enough to fix it. I’ve been a loyal GameStop customer, and this is how I’m treated? I went in to trade my PS5 toward a PS5 Pro during a promotion, and the employee helping me clearly was new and didn’t know what he was doing. Despite that, he was left alone to handle the transaction. He incorrectly marked my perfectly working PS5 as “defective,” dropping my trade-in value by about $100. When I noticed the mistake and went back in, the staff admitted they messed up and that it should NOT have been marked defective—but then told me there was nothing they could do about it. So they fully acknowledged the error and just expected me to accept losing $100 because of their mistake. Unbelievable. I also tried reaching out through online support, and that was just as useless. No real help, no resolution, just being brushed off. This happened at the Viewmont Mall location in Dickson City, PA. Between incompetent staff and zero accountability, I won’t be coming back. If this is how loyal customers are treated, I’ll take my business elsewhere. *EDIT* After constant reaching out to support and getting the BBB involved, the higher ups at gamestop finally reached out and made this right.

I called in to see if they had a game I wanted and they said yeah. I drove a whole hour to the store and the employee named Brandon pulled it out the shelf to make sure I got it. Thank you so much Brandon!!!!

THANKS FOR WASTING OUR TIME . Called Joshua an hour ago saying my wife was on her way to pick up a Switch 2 YOU WERE HOLDING FOR HER because we live in Binghamton and were heading that way to grab it. She arrives, gets completely ignored when she gets there, then when she says she’s there to pick up the Switch 2 gets told that they sold it?!? You all have some genuine 🏀 ‘s to make my wife waste an hour down and back without any warning or call back saying “hey we wanted to hold it but someone else wanted it” THEN WHAT WAS THE POINT OF SAYING YOU WERE GOING TO HOLD IT?!?!? DO BETTER.

I was told they don’t they don’t take VR headsets due to hygiene reasons. While I understand that a lot of people who play video games are lacking in the hygiene department I don’t think this policy is the answer to that problem. Maybe stop addicting kids to these insane addicting marketing scheme filled games and teach them how to live a normal life.
