Store just straight up didn't open on release day for a game I had preordered. GameStop corporate is a third party call center so they were useless. GameStop wouldn't allow the pre order to be picked up from a different store. I've been trying to stay a GS customer, having shopped with them for pretty much my whole life but this was the last issue for me. I'll pre order from Best Buy or Amazon now, since a GameStop pre order no longer means you'll get the game on release day. At least Best Buy opens when they advertise.

Learn costumer service over the phone. "Aha" then hangup, is not a way to end a phone conversation. Specially if someone is nice to you. J3rk ( Male worker ) didn't even got his name.

The store itself was clean, well-lit, and fully stocked. The staff were courteous and helpful, but unfortunately, they're limited by GameStop’s outdated systems. It’s frustrating that it takes up to two days just for a receipt to show up in the system. So if you buy a pre-owned product that turns out to be faulty like in my case you’re stuck. If you threw away my receipt they don't have any immediate resolution. Now let’s talk about the quality of these pre-owned items. It’s clearly declined. I exchanged a defective console only to receive another one with the exact same issue this time the RT button on the controller doesn’t work. And instead of simply replacing the controller, I’m being asked to bring the entire console back again. This isn’t a store issue it’s a GameStop issue. At this point, I’m leaning toward sticking with Best Buy or Amazon. Their refurbished products arrive in far better condition, and returns are quick and hassle-free. GameStop seriously needs to rethink its policies and tech infrastructure if it wants to stay competitive.

My GameStop is the best the crew is friendly and they always put on the best game release parties. Scott is the best host with the most random games for us to play. Thanks Team for another great release party.
