GameStop - 3868 - Shops at Gallatin

Went in to buy a switch 2 and the guy at the counter wouldn’t let me check out without buying a membership. I told him no several times and explained that I rarely shopped at GameStop and he still wouldn’t give it up. He was extremely rude and aggressive and constantly talked down to me :-(

Matthew is a pushy creep. We went in just to grab 1 thing and we wanted the least expensive option available. He was already upset that we needed something. When we asked for the game stop version and not the nintendo switch version he kept trying to force the Nintendo version on us saying that it was only a $10 difference. We assured him we wanted the game stop version twice and he rolled his eyes. Then while trying to checkout he kept trying to push the membership on us to which we had to tell him 4 times we were sure we didnt want it. He once again became visibly upset and huffed about how he was just trying to save us money as if we insulted him. This was supposed to be a quick in and out and turned into having to argue with this guy just to pay for my stuff and leave. When people say no they mean no. I hate to think about other people he has tried to manipulate into buying certain items by just acting offended and rude.

One of your employees loudly cursed ( F word) as me and my 10 year old daughter were shopping today 1:40 p.m. He also denied my purchase of a PS 5 disc drive saying I needed a membership (had one for a decade but you closed every store around me sonI stop here when i am in Gallatin) which i see was a policy and I left my whole purchase. I then ordered it online without a membership for the Gamestop in Bowling Green I pick it up tomorrow. Weird still no membership. So the policy is for store purchase not online? Maybe post that clearer in store so your people are not turning down purchases at the counter.

Worst costumer service I've ever received. An employee named Matthew/Matt was incredibly rude, short, judgy, and a jerk. Off the bat he was obviously upset that customers had approached the counter and was immediately rude. Immediately took a game off my trade in stack and said no to it and also said if he says no to a game then it's a NO (we didn't say a thing about him passing on the game). Gave him my phone number to access my rewards account and he immediately makes a "Really??" at my last name and acted like it was terrible. When the games were ready he yelled across the store and pointed at us and said, "You two I'm ready with your stuff". Had us cut in line of a father and son because he didn't want to switch computers and proceeded to tell us why we needed to get the Pro because it was only $13 (even though it's $25 so I'm unsure of why he was lying). Made us feel stupid and a huge inconvenience of even visiting the store. If going to a GameStop, go to the Lebanon or Madison location where the employees treat you kindly

I only had a phone call and it was 15 mins before they actually closed. But Zack or Zach was the most polite and upbeat person I have talked in a while (not including GameStop). He was very helpful and easy to talk to. He will make any customer a repeat one just off his nice conversation and personality alone.
