I’ve been a loyal GameStop customer and Pro Member for years, but today was the final straw. GameStop has gone from being a place where gamers and collectors could buy products at fair retail prices to charging well above MSRP for many highly sought-after Pokémon products. It’s disappointing to see a retailer compete with the very scalpers that collectors are trying to avoid. To make matters worse, I couldn’t even use my monthly $5 Pro Reward because I was told I had to log into the app and present a barcode. I couldn’t remember which email was tied to my account, and resetting my password while standing in the store was frustrating and unnecessarily complicated. A paid membership shouldn’t require jumping through hoops just to redeem a basic monthly benefit. The employees were courteous and simply following company policy. My issue is with GameStop’s corporate decisions and the direction the company has taken. As a result, I will not be renewing my Pro Membership, and I will not be shopping at GameStop again. After many years as a loyal customer, you’ve lost my business.

I searched gamestop online for pre-owned within a mile radius of my zip code and saw they had what I was looking for then I called over the phone to make sure the title was actually in store in stock had to call a few times to reach a employee then once they confirmed after putting a eye on the title I ordered online for store pickup I actually used paypal pay in 4 option the transaction was pending until fulfilled bye merchant and I was emailed within a hour or so for pickup when I arrived to the store they verified me from the conformation email only thing I forgot to ask since it was a pre-owned title did they have original box which they actually didn't at the time but it was not a deal breaker but they did ask if I wanted a refund all in all it was a pleasant interaction

I had a terrible experience with GameStop and it’s honestly unacceptable. I ordered a Pokémon “Ascended Heroes” booster bundle for store pickup, only to show up and be told they didn’t even have it in stock. How does that even happen? Why allow an order for pickup if the item isn’t physically there? Now, I want to be very clear about one thing — the employee, “Whre,” was awesome and extremely helpful. He handled the situation professionally, explained it was an honest mistake, and genuinely tried to fix it. Zero complaints about him at all. The problem is the corporate team, which has been absolutely horrible. I’ve now spent two full days trying to get my money back for something I never even received. I keep getting told they need to “investigate” the situation — investigate what exactly? There is nothing to investigate. I placed an order, the item wasn’t there, and I walked out with nothing. On top of that, I cannot get a supervisor on the phone no matter how many times I call. Just constant runaround, no accountability, and no resolution. This should be simple: I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING — GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. Great in-store employee. Completely broken system and horrible corporate support.

Had a great experience earlier trading in a PS5. I can’t remember the guys name that helped me but I noticed “Gav” on my receipt. So maybe Gavin? Either way, he quick with checking out the system and getting everything worked out. I’m definitely not someone who likes preordering games, but I went ahead and preordered some things just because of the good experience. Would definitely come back. The only thing I wish they had more of was retro gaming.

Almost every time I come here, there are several people waiting in line for their single cashier that takes forever chatting with customers, often about Pokemon cards. Meanwhile another employee who, for some reason, hasn't been trained to operate the cash register, just stands around watching. I have walked out while planning to buy stuff out on several occasions because of this happening. As if this weren't enough reason not to buy from them, I later attempted to order a PS5 for Same-Day Delivery. Not only did the order not come same day, it took me calling the store directly on the next day for them to acknowledge that I had even placed an order. They also told me I would have to call corporate to get my money back for the extra money I spent on same day delivery. Eventually I called corporate to just cancel my order, where they said they would have to go to higher ups in order to get me my money back. Because taking $500 from someone and then going silent makes total sense for the consumer. I ended up finding the same console for cheaper and faster delivery at Walmart, and I advise everyone else do the same. No clue how this store has stayed afloat.
