GameStop - 3571 - Boynton Towncenter

Bought a used copy of a game and when I picked it up it was in a gamestop made case but was charged the same price regardless, called about asking for an original case and was no problem but when I went down there we were given an attitude about by 2 different employees, will not be shopping at this location anymore

Will was very cocky and unhelpful! Called about a trade in…drove down 25 min to get there only to be told the computer is frozen and he could not take a trade in…no resolution…no brainstorming how to fix the problem…no calling another store or corporate for a solution just cocky responses with zero effort! My time is valuable nothing about wasting it or the effort or responses I received were ok! Just another poorly run company with awful employees that could care less

The white guy with the ponytail added a 1 year warranty to every game I bought without bothering to ask whether I wanted it. Every game I bought was $5 and used so it clearly was not something I would want/need. When I saw the charges on the receipt and returned to cancel the warranties, the employee who just swindled me was clearly pissed off I noticed and mumbled "goddammit" while processing the refund. He then loudly and condescendingly read the refund amount to emphasize that he thought it was a negligible amount and gave me the games back silently while giving me a death stare. It's apparent in several other reviews this guy has a habit of doing this scam with warranties and Gamestop Pro subscriptions. Double check your receipt before leaving the store.

Game stop has always been apart of my life. When I moved from Maryland to Boynton beach in 2015 I was relieved to now that a place very familiar was close by… thank you GameStop for all the good memories
