The employees are great. But, something seems to be going wrong whenever I shop here. Inventory issues, not taking trade ins, unannounced delays to opening.

Watched an employee lock up 9 minutes til 4pm with a sign "Will Return Shortly" Waited in my vehicle for over thirty minutes, watched multiple people try to open the locked door to Gamestop. If they only had one employee working that day, they should have taken their break (if that is what they are doing) at an earlier time. NOT during a busy time of the day. Ridiculous.

The last few times I've went in I'm pretty much ignored by the employees. Sometimes they're just talking to one another. It's deeply uncomfortable having a to say "hi" or "excuse me" a few times just to get help in purchasing something, and then for the employee to seem annoyed at having to help a customer. Just sucks. I'll be buying online from now on.

We have been to this GameStop several times now and have never been impressed. I understand that Fairbanks has its challenges when it comes to stocking shelves but it’s much more than stock on hand. The store is often dirty, unorganized, and smelly. The staff is very 50/50, it depends who is there… they aren’t all bad but some are inattentive and seem like they couldn’t care less about their jobs. I hope that the staff will care more about their jobs and get this place cleaned up. The gaming community deserves better.

I bought a “pre-owned” Horizon: Forbidden West game. When I got home I noticed a black sticker on the front of the game package, and when I removed it it revealed a sticker underneath stating the game was defective and to return to warehouse. I am appalled that I was sold a game they obviously just slapped a black sticker over their defective label and labeled it as a “pre-owned” game to make a buck. Upon trying to return it tonight, I was met by at least 50 plus people waiting in line for a new release. Which is fine, until ALL of the pre-purchase customers are taking priority over any and every other service for the store. Surely you guys could have had a designated line for other store-related business between three employees and a manager. But NOPE- we were told by the manager it would be a long wait. I won’t be shopping at this store again due to the shady business tactics that screw over people and waste time / fuel trying to return the game they sold KNOWING it is defective. Horrible business practices.
