The worst customer service I've ever witnessed. Manager, Ozzy, yelled at a Dad that had 4 kids with him AND called him a bad father in front of them. Over trading in a Nintendo Switch dock. Instead of just helping them and creating a return customer, this "manager" decided to create a scene and lose customers. Gamestop has gone downhill and I will never shop there. It's hard enough to live in this country right now, why would you act this way and make it worse? Completely disgusted with Gamestop and their employees.

Went to this game stop yesterday to asks if they have a figure. The employees then proceeded to brag in my face how they already pre ordered the figure saying I should have got there sooner. After this when I was checking out the so called manger wouldn’t check me out until I tried to buy there membership and when I said no I don’t want the membership he makes fun of me for not having the money for membership saying “that’s crazy you can buy a 100 dollar figure but not a 25 dollar membership” ps I think the guys name was ozzy.

Treated a friend like he was a moron for trying to purchase the new digimon game and told him that it was only out for pre order don't know the girls name but she is incredibly unprofessional snappy and ugly as far as personality goes this is a prime example vof why this franchise is dieing due to hiring people that probably didn't finish 5th grade not only is my friend a continuos customer but his account dates back to the grand opening of the location that is no longer at the Lancaster mall due to them bringing all the stores vout side and if it is still there that's awesome but I'd avoid this location due to a nasty little know it all that thinks she understands what is available and she promptly told him that he didn't know what he talking about and hung up on him

Went in yesterday around 2-3pm and the staff was very rude to me and my brother. After giving my phone number for our account, the employee found the account (said the correct name to me and everything) and then while we were waiting for the total they said “so it looks like there wasn’t an account with that number”, excuse me? Clearly there was if just a minute ago you found it. He then either reads the number back incorrectly or just did not remember when putting it in again (I understand, I wouldn’t remember a number either), but it was a completely didn’t area code is what had me actually confused. Found the account again, suddenly it doesn’t exist after finding it for a second time, and another employee, who I assumed was the shift lead, butted in and asked for the email, and I responded “I don’t know which email it is, it’s our mom’s account” and she laughed at me? And said “so you don’t have any information on the account?” Well if you were actually listening, you would’ve heard we FOUND an account twice but thanks for assuming I’m stupid. I’m absolutely offended and say “why does that matter when the phone number worked just fine” nothing, she just moves us over to her register and suddenly there’s nothing wrong with the phone number and account. If this was my own purchase I would have just walked out at the blatant lying and complete disrespect, but I wasn’t going to tell my disabled brother he can’t get what he wants because the employees think I’m stupid and think it’s okay to lie to my face. Genuinely if the first employee had just said “I think something is wrong” or “I think I pressed a button wrong” I would not be this angry, but the direct lying is what I have an issue with. I know this review will solve nothing but maybe it will. Please train your employees in better etiquette. :/ I’m not asking for above and beyond behavior, I’m just asking not to be lied to or laughed at. Kindness and patience go a long way.

I had a genuinely great experience at my local GameStop recently, and I feel like good customer service deserves to be recognized. I went in expecting a quick stop to browse, but the staff ended up being the highlight of the visit. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted right away without feeling pressured. The associate asked what I was looking for and actually listened instead of trying to upsell something random. I brought in a stack of games to trade, and the process was smooth and transparent from start to finish. They scanned everything right in front of me, explained the trade-in values clearly, and I ended up getting quite a bit more back than I expected. It actually added up to a solid amount of store credit, which I was able to use toward a new headset for my son’s PS4. Being able to turn old games that were just sitting around into something he genuinely wanted and will use every day felt like a win. What stood out most was how knowledgeable and honest the staff were. I had questions about different headset options, durability, and sound quality, and they broke down the differences without pushing the most expensive one. They explained what would realistically hold up best and what made sense for a PS4 setup. That kind of transparency builds trust. The store itself was clean, organized, and easy to browse. Pre-owned games were clearly labeled, accessories were stocked neatly, and everything felt straightforward. Checkout was quick, and they explained the return policy and protection plans clearly without being overly pushy. Overall, this visit reminded me why physical gaming stores still matter. Being able to trade in games, get fair value, ask questions in real time, and walk out with exactly what you need makes a big difference. I left feeling confident about my purchase and appreciated the positive experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back.
