GameStop - 3029 - Penn Plaza Shopping Center

I went in for controllers for an Xbox360. I noticed the plug didn't look right but hadn't played on the system in years so I asked if they were complete because I remember it being a USB plug. They said they were right and I must have been thinking of an older model. I made an account, the girl who put my information in only did half of my last name and when I pointed it out she didn't fix it because it "didn't matter". And when I got home the controllers didn't plug into my system, because they were missing half the cable. I returned them the same day, the associates didn't even apologize for giving me something I couldn't use. I was very unimpressed with the lack of customer service and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

What a complete disaster at the GameStop on Stratford Road in Moses Lake today. I placed an order on my phone for a brand new Nintendo Switch game that released today, specifically for in-store pickup at this exact location—the only GameStop in Moses Lake. I waited two hours, drove over, and they told me they couldn’t pull the game for me because the order still hadn’t shown up in their system. I get that it’s not the employees’ fault—the system is clearly broken and poorly designed. But GameStop needs to fix this immediately so their staff can actually grab the game off the shelf for a customer who placed a legitimate pickup order for that specific store. It makes zero sense that they can’t just hand it over when I’m standing right there, especially in a small town with only one store. When I asked them to cancel the order so I could buy it elsewhere or even from their own shelf, they refused. So now I’m stuck with no game, no cancellation, and still waiting on an email confirmation four hours later. The order is still pending. This level of incompetence is unacceptable. It wastes everyone’s time and frustrates loyal customers. This is exactly why people are giving up on physical games and GameStop’s pickup system is a joke. I will never use GameStop pickup again. GameStop needs to do better—fix your broken system so employees aren’t forced to turn away ready customers.

Went to this GameStop to buy a couple of things for our son's birthday. Will never shop at GameStop again. I hope this company goes under for the kind of scam they try to pull. First you wait in line for 30min. Then when you go to pay they force you to open up a account. But this salesperson "Adan" as shown on my receipt went a step further. Saying we can't buy what we brought up unless we pay for a 1 year membership. Wanted to charge me more money for something we'll never use. So then after him basically saying we can't buy our items we felt forced to sign up to get only Half our purchase. We weren't paying for a membership and we certainly will never spend 1 cent at a GameStop. I then after getting home seen on our receipt that I was limited to 2 of each item. So basically what I was trying to purchase in the beginning. The salesperson was trying to scam more money probably for his own personal gain. Not a family friendly place. Wife and I are beyond over this company's practices. DON'T SHOP AT RIP OFF STOP!

Trade in my items for so extra cash for gas. The old guy who looks very out of place took in the trade in used half the money to renew the gamestop pro and refused to give a receipt. Please make sure to get proof of purchase so you aren't wasting money. They need those renewals to make them look good.

Every time I come in here the staff are great. Friendly and helpful. Lots of cool stuff to need out on. And if they don't have it in the store they'll get it for you easily.
