This store is awesome. The workers are always friendly and extremely helpful. I just traded in my fatboy PS5 and my Xbox series S in order to get a PS5 Pro before the price goes up to $900 on April 2nd 2026. The manager JJ was very friendly and extremely helpful. They literally only had one in stock and he told me people had been calling about it all day long, so I talked to him about trading in both consoles in order to get this one but I told him I was at work, and he actually held the console for me until I was able to get it picked up. This was truly an unforgettable experience and I won't forget it! Thanks again JJ and GameStop in Roanoke rapids ❤️💯🔥🎮

We stopped by because we were working in town and looking for something specific, didn’t get any acknowledgment at all from the gentleman working. Less than impressed, this is what’s killing GameStop.

I was so happy that when I called about a game that has been hard to keep in stick, was actually there. It was a hunting game and was for the right game system. I was so excited and they made my godsons, who is ten, whole year. He's played the game non stop. 😊 The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The worker even informed me that if it's a game that's needed they can order it and have it sent to your home, as long as it's on their site. She offered knowledge of things without me asking and when I did have a question she answered it fairly quickly and seemed to know a whole lot about games and the systems. Would definitely recommend getting games here. The price was great for the game I got for my godson

Customer service was awesome. Justin was respectful, very knowledgeable, and overall provided a great experience for us when trading in items and upgrading systems. He was working by himself and managed to assist us and other customers in a well balanced manner where everyone was helped but no one was rushed or waiting long. The store is clean, well stocked, and well organized.

The employees were very friendly and kind when I had questions about the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector's Edition. They had a little party in the store leading up to the game launch with pizza, homemade Zelda-themed snacks, games, and prizes. It was a very wholesome and fun experience.
