GameStop - 2499 - Fuquay Varina

Found a used Game Boy Color here. Works great! The only issue is that the speaker is a little worn out, but I've found it more charming than anything.

I've been going to game stop since I moved here in 2023, since then they've been changing, expanding, testing new products and niches. I commend them for keeping their staff well informed, on their game and most of all patience. Went to the switch release at midnight and it was a great time. Keep it up.

Warning: Gamestop Pro Member since 2010 about to describe a first time, egregious issue, with zero-customer realtions considered, that isn't about the money, but the blatant false advertising of trade-ins. I'm totally aware of all the small things that can affect the price you see, vs what's actually offered. This is NOT one of those post. Read further to avoid being ripped off or waste your gas. My local Fuquay-Varina Gamestop showed a trade value of $65 for a pro member on a Xbox one S 1TB on the app, with this store selected as my local. When I got there, they told me and showed me the system was only offering $50, despite there being nothing missing and the condition verified by them to be good. The store employees and manager both admitted they had no idea why this was the case, after confirming literally everything that could effect the price to be no issue. They literally just said "I'm sorry man I don't know why it's different but there's nothing we can do" The price on the app says it's guaranteed for the same day. I would go so far as to call this legitimate"false advertising" on Gamestops part and constitutes deceptive business practices. The BBB will be made aware. Will continue to shop here, but won't even consider trading in my games or consoles anymore, afraid I'll be ripped off even more than Gamestop is famous for.

This is a great local GameStop. Sami here is top tier. He takes the time to get to know you, asks you questions about your interests, and cares about the families in this community. GameStop is big brand, but Sami runs this Stop like a local business. Highly recommend supporting this location.

I’ve been shopping here for years. The employees here are fantastic. Helpful with purchases, they answer all my non gamer questions when shopping for my kids and husband, super patient when untangling a mess with my membership. When purchasing those more niche franchise games and collectibles for my kids it’s just a much better experience than one of the bigger stores. GameStop as a company has its issues, but this location is genuinely fantastic.
