The manager claims he is not a retro store; if you want to buy the retro games that he has on shelves, you have to wait until November.....or drive to Mcallen or weslaco game stop. Manager words.

*Don't buy pokemon cards from GameStop* For context: My wife and I been trying to collect pokemon as a bonding hobby, we learned that GameStop was going to have restock this Saturday 11/01/25, I was specting little to no pokemon cards but to my surprise the were a bunch of etb's, buster bundles and sleeved packs, as soon as I ask for the price I knew why they had a lot of product, they were literally selling at resell price Etb at 70 dlls, booster bundles at 45 that's crazy. As much as I love the store I will be taking my business elsewhere!

If there was a way for me to rate lower than a 1 star I would. They will steal your money!!! Do NOT come to buy anything at this store. I ordered an online order (in-store) Dec 3 for my son and the associate Salvador messed up the email when placing the order (even though I verbally and visually showed him the email) so there was no confirmation, no way of tracking my purchase. After getting the run around, calling customer service more than 10 times and went to the store about 5 times to get my money back since I paid cash. They lied straight to my face and said they would expedite my order. After waiting another week for this supposed expedited order, I called customer service again to cancel the order all together because they stated it was on back order and no proof of the expedited delivery. Went back into the store today Dec 16 for a refund and spoke with Jacob, a supposed manager, hoping to get my cash back on this cancelled order. All they offered was a ridiculous gift card for $32 and a pathetic sorry for your troubles. Honestly such a terrible customer experience I will never ever order or buy anything from this store again, no care for the inconvenience, added stress or customer care at all! Did not expect this especially right before the holidays. Beware of this store in Harlingen!!!!

Don't bother trying to buy Pokemon cards here. They are are rip off and sell at "market prices" This is a review for the store management and higher. Claiming that selling a $120 box for $200 to "curb scalping" is laughable. This is just corporate greed. With as much product as they have its clear they are willing to sit on these to make as much money as possible.
