GameStop - 2242 - South Road Square

I brought some old games in and also some consoles. GameStop was very accommodating and they really helped me out. I will definitely use them again

Probably would have had something better to say if they didn't put me on hold for 10 mins then hang up on me and not answer when I called them back

I used to come here multiple times a week for retro games, but I stopped coming due to supply and staff. I overheard staff members talking to customers about how they were holding them items and or buying them for themselves. If all of the quality retro games are going to be bought my staff before you even have a chance to, there’s no reason to come anymore except for preorders.

The first time I went was about 3 years ago in 2023. A short blonde perky girl helped me. I kept coming back bcuz I liked her attitude and the way she did business, along with one of her male coworkers. Now I refuse to even step foot back in that place. Everything started to go downhill after I noticed she wasn’t there anymore. I went a few times and dealt with an autistic boy who claimed he was the manager. My final straw was when the autistic guy screamed at me one time for wanting to return something. Telling me something about “tanking his numbers?” . I haven’t been back to any GameStop since. And I won’t be back either.

A lot of the local ones have closed but this one hasn't, which is great. It's a little further than I would like to drive to, but the staff and the selection is fantastic. I'm glad everyone who works here is very helpful and tries to help out their customers as best as they can.
