GameStop - 1694 - Alta Mesa & McCart S/C

Came in yesterday to purchase 5 ST01 booster packs that clearly showed were available for in store pick up when I got to the store 3 employees were at the register I let them know they had 5 available the manager on duty I assume proceeded to go in the back and look for the packs but couldn’t find them told me it was a “system error” funny enough I placed the order online and was fulfilled in minutes I wasted a secondary trip becuase I assume they wanted to keep them for themselves. Also they proceeded to tell me that the manger Will at the other location was known for keeping product for themselves throwing another GameStop employee under the bus when in fact they were the ones doing this bad customer service all around.

Trash service. Was looking for a game and they never picked up the phone. Do not recommend

Liam was amazing. I came in 15 minutes before closing, with a difficult return AND they were busy. He was respectful understanding and very quick!

Shout out to management or whoever it was that cheaped out on understaffing so much that there’s only 1 sole employee there that’ll just leave the store during business hours. No disrespect to the employee here that left this note, I’m sure they had a good reason. But can GameStop seriously not afford an extra employee so this person having to leave didn’t shut didn’t shut the store down? Was really looking forward to getting some stuff here but I just went to GameXchange instead. Great job sending me directly to a competitor! Will definitely be going to GameXchange more often now, never had them close on me during business hours like this.

I'm a big fan of gamestop. I've worked at this location as security when grand theft auto 3 launched. I been going there since they actually opened over 20 years ago, and still go to get games like Mortal kombat, Street fighter, call of duty, and many more!! I've even bought my consoles here. Customer service has always been great also. I highly recommend visiting this location.
