GameStop - 1167 - Palm Desert Town Center

Absolutely the worst customer service, this is why they are going out of business. I was always super loyal but I had to cut my losses and go to Best Buy instead. I won’t be returning with my business to this specific location.

Walked in started asking questions about the minor changes with GameStop that's been happening, I was amazed with the customer service and knowledge Kevin had, along with the passion for the miniature painting community, especially since GameStop is starting to sell different miniature models from different franchises, and hosting game nights, really cool idea, what great community out reaching, awesome service every time we visit this location.

I bought my kid a xbox 1 controller and a used Lego game . When it came to pay I was told if it don't work you can't return unless you buy warranty and membership. The controller was $60 and game $10 . I ended up getting used one for $39 and game . Went home game was damaged . Controller worked . I won't return for anything else . Went to Walmart today bought a new one $49 . With warranty.

The reps in this store (manager and assistant manager) are always friendly and helpful. Don't let the whiny Pokemon fan reviews fool you, this store is rad and so are the employees.

March 06, 2025 I purchased a roaring moon ex box Containing 4 booster packs inside. Upon opening the box at home I noticed it only had 1 booster pack. I then called the store the next day and spoke with a male employee who claimed to be a manager at the PD mall location. He gave me no resolution to my problem. I then ask him for a higher up for further resolution of my end and he got frustrated and proceded to curse at me over the phone. Very bad customer service and I believe his name is Josh. I also believe this store had something to do with my pokemon box being resealed. Very sketchy buisness. Most definitely glued down a box and sold at this location. Pictures contain 2 sealed products opened and the roaring box has extra glue resealing it. Very Sketchy place
