Saturday afternoon and they had one person working. The line was long and he was nice but the store was definitely understaffed. The selection of games was lacking.

What an absolutely terrible business. You should have the basic decency to tell your customers before they pay that you don’t have any bags available. You don’t take someone’s money first and then casually announce, “Oh, by the way, we don’t have a bag.” If you’re incapable of running a store properly, maybe close it down and let someone who actually knows what they’re doing take over. It’s ridiculous that customers get to enjoy the wonderful privilege of paying money and being inconvenienced at the same time. I genuinely don’t think I’ve seen a store managed this badly in years. I’d honestly love to know what the person running this place did before becoming a manager. My guess is the last time they were trusted with any real responsibility was choosing teams for a football match in elementary school — and even that may have been asking too much. How someone with this spectacular lack of experience and basic management skills has survived in this position for so many years is genuinely fascinating. At this point, perhaps management simply isn’t their calling. They might want to consider a career sweeping streets instead, because apparently one street is about the largest operation they could realistically manage. Calling this place a “store” is already being generous. The level of organization and professionalism is so poor that there’s practically no difference between this business and a random street vendor — except, to be fair, most street vendors probably know whether they have a bag before taking your money.

Waited 40 min in line to buy a shirt. When I got to the cashier, I asked to price match with their own website. They checked the website and it had the lower price but they said it was online only. The difference was only $2 and they couldn’t do it and said I’d have to buy it online. The site gives you the option to pick up and buy it at that price but it claimed it’s sold out from this store so I couldn’t buy for pickup on the site. Complete waste of time and I just left it. Don’t go to GameStop if you’re looking to price match their own website.

Went to this store to inquire about a game. Maria helped me while holding down the rest of the store as she was the only one working and there was a considerable crowd. I was not rushed amd she was patient and very helpful. I was thoroughly impressed with her integrity, efficiency and kindness. Fox Hills Mall is a place from my childhood. It was where I took pics with Santa, worked at the pet store and congregate with HS friends. It holds a special place in my heart. Maria rocks and Gamestop should be grateful someone like her is holding it down (by herself) for them! She was impeccable! Thank you, Maria.
