GameStop - 0694 - Cowesett Corners

Be very careful of some of the employees at this store, who will try to scam you if you don't get a warranty or pro membership. They will flat out give you a used game when you buy new, a broken game case, a generic Gamestop/empty case when ones were traded in for the used one, purposely choose the wrong editions of game(s) during trade-ins so they're less value, etc... Max is the biggest culprit of this, and is constantly hostile. The store's branch manager, Michael, has received several complaints of Max by several people, and has done nothing about it. Just look at some of the reviews here as well. One of the people here had his console trade in also sabotaged by Max, and was being yelled at by him. They also gut new copies of games when they're NOT the last physical copy to display on the shelf, and AREN'T putting a seal sticker around the case opening, like they're supposed to. Which means you become ineligible to return it, as it's no longer viewed as "new" (sealed), as they are likely taking it home to play themselves. They are literally selling you "new" games, when it is being used, and not sealed (whether sticker or shrink wrapped); like it is supposed to be. Go to another location you guys. Let this one shut down, or the branch manager finally do something about it. Your experience will literally only be good here with Armando.

I came here to offer my consoles for trade-in. This guy, from the beginning, was trying to break my consoles on purpose and reject the trade-in, making up any excuse. He even refused to connect the controller, saying it didn't work. When I told him I noticed what he was doing, he started acting aggressively, trying to throw my things at me, he even slam breaking my PS5 controller on the floor. Don't come to this place. He should be fired. The Worse experienced i ever had
