GameStop - 0283 - Chicago Ridge Mall

Very disappointed with my experience at GameStop in Chicago Ridge Mall. I purchased a brand-new Nintendo game, only to discover that it was for a different Nintendo console than the one I own. I returned to the store just a few days later, expecting to exchange or return it, but was told that I could not get a refund. What made the situation even more frustrating was that they only offered me about $15 in trade-in value for a game that had cost me $53 just days earlier. Losing most of the value on a brand-new game because of an honest mistake is extremely disappointing. I understand stores have return policies, but there should be more flexibility when a customer purchases the wrong version and returns it within a few days. Instead, I was left with a significant loss and no reasonable solution. Be sure to carefully check GameStop’s return policy before buying, because you may not be able to return or exchange a game even shortly after purchase.

They never answer the phone. Store is a mess always

Maxwell provided great customer service and went above and beyond to assist my son with his switch 2 issue.

Finally had Pokèmon! Props to cashier being nice to the scalper trying to buy everything and giving employee a hard time. But there should be a trapdoor that activates any time someone asks if the can buy everything. Scalper was literally bragging that walmart let's him buy everything. *trap door opens* Lol thanks for enforcing limits and please drop the price of UPC!

Just came from this GS with the wife for a few Black Friday deals. She wanted a few games, and they had more of the games she wanted. The sales associate known as Arthur was very helpful. He went above and beyond to find a specific game for her. He gets 5 ⭐'s for his help. P.S. Arthur, if you somehow see this review. Just know I appreciate your existence. Thank you.
