Game Underground

Great place first time 2 stars because not all games are working or in order, very hard to scan my game card on skee Ball machine and other games. Deal or no deal machine not working, isn't bell at front desk ,if need help from an employee. Only two employees working. Went back today, 6/4/26, employee was facing the skee ball machines when I left, still double tapped game card by mistake, he gave me extra credits, disappointed no tickets and no prizes, wish could swipe card or use tokens , easier then scanning or tapping game card , hard to avoid double tapping.

A fine selection of arcade games, but a bit of a mess. I'm pretty careful with the condition of the games I buy... and while the selection was okay, the quality was not. The cabs are in decent shape. The layout feels nice and old school, a bit cramped but perhaps thats part of the vibe? Prices were pretty fair, didn't feel ripped off. Location was nice, right around some decent food. Could use a bit of organizing and cleaning, but as a classic arcade with some nice Japanese cabs, not bad. Not bad, but certainly not great.

Lots of fun games. I visited on a Saturday afternoon for StepmaniaX which I didn't see anyone else use. The DDR cabinet was in fairly constant use, didn't see anyone use PIU Phoenix. Lots of other games including several good for 6yo+ kids: air hockey, pinball, Crazy Taxi and other driving games, TMNT, etc. Pretty loud as you might expect. Also plenty of other attractions on Moody St (the ice ceam place is nice and has vegan flavors).

This review is mainly for the end-of-year annual lock in. It was SO fun and I met so many nice people. They have every Japanese rhythm game, SEGA driving games and they even had fighting games like TEKKEN set up everywhere that night. TYSM!!

Awesome place with lots of great arcade games. The staff care about your fun and they're super helpful and there's plenty of variety in both classic and new games. Totally worth bringing a group of people with you to have fun. Bring money so you can get tokens.
