Five Star Games - West Springfield

Huge fan of this store. Owner is friendly and very knowledgeable about the card games and tabletop games he stocks. Staff are always super nice, and even the store regulars are funny and friendly while you walk around their games. This store has an excellent selection of games workshop products, including rare kits, out of production stuff, and webstore only products. Easily the largest stock in the region, including the GW store in Hartford.

The store has an excellent selection of products, singles, and collectibles, and everything is well organized and easy to browse. What really made the difference, though, was the help I received from one staff member who took the time to assist me in my search. They were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in helping me find the cards I needed rather than just making a sale. In a hobby where it can sometimes feel like stores are focused solely on moving product, Five Star Games stands out because they clearly care about collectors and players. You can tell they want people to enjoy the hobby and have a fair chance at getting cards, whether they're building decks, collecting sets, or hunting for specific singles. That kind of customer-first attitude is becoming harder to find and is something I really appreciated. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was friendly, and the overall experience reminded me why local game stores are such an important part of the collecting community. I'll definitely be returning as I continue to grow my collection, and I would highly recommend Five Star Games to anyone interested in Pokémon, trading card games, or collectibles in general. Whether you're a longtime collector or just getting started, this is a shop that truly values its customers and the hobby itself.

We drive almost 3 hours to come to this store. They have a huge collection of warhammer and other games. The staff is very knowledgeable. They even go as far as to teach new players. If you are interested in increasing your army or thinking of getting in the game.... this is the place to go. Highly recommend this store to anyone.
