These reviews sound pretty rehearsed. Well, the ones I read anyway before I gave up. I started playing magic A little while back after not playing ever but actually just watching friends play at school. That was 25 years ago and I thought this would be the perfect hobby for me. Well, thanks for the wonderful welcome back I guess since you couldn’t comprehend what my grandpa was saying or you’re just rude .yeah he has neurological issues so sometimes he has a little bit of a hard time. We absolutely qualify as beginners because started playing on arena and needed some cards to play with to practice to see which ones to buy like what style we liked. Then after not giving him any promo decks and making up a story .then try to sell him two paper weights, Lorwyn eclipse. Pirates And the Marvel dual deck box Which were both $10 above cost . Those are the crappiest decks out there. I’m new not stupid. I do very good research, guess my research is concluded on fire and ice. this wasn’t the first experience either so it’s not like I’m jumping to conclusions. They had me sitting there when I have a blood clot in my leg not their fault but I’m sitting there waiting for 20 minutes standing there while they chitchat about BS instead of giving me two minutes and the time before disrespected my taste in products. he might’ve asked for something cheap in a way like nothing too expensive but that doesn’t mean he wants to buy crap. He put them on the counter. He could’ve put like one of the other pre-cons but didn’t.

I personally went for Magic the gathering however they had a large assortment of other products such as Pokémon, Yugioh, and I saw some Lorcana. The staff helped me find the cards I was looking for, and gave good suggestions for my commander decks. Overall great service, product, price, and location overall!!!

If you haven’t been to Fire & Ice yet, this needs to be your next destination! Fire and Ice in Rocklin is hands down the best local game store in the area, and it all starts with the staff. Every single person working there is genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the hobby. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just getting into games, they make you feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door. What really sets this place apart is their incredible selection across multiple trading card games. I’ve found cards here that I’d been hunting for months. Singles from sets spanning Magic, Pokémon, and One Piece! If you’re chasing down hard-to-find cards, this is absolutely your spot. On top of the great selection, the deals are unreal. Fair pricing across the board, and the staff are always upfront and honest. No price gouging on hot cards, just genuine value for collectors and players alike. Local game stores like this are a treasure, and Fire and Ice in Rocklin deserves every bit of support the community can give. Highly, highly recommend!

Fire and Ice is the gem of Rocklin and between incredible friendly staff and an insane collection of trading cards, retro games and an overall amazing atmosphere to shop, play and hang out in. If you have any questions or concerns Ryan, Lee, Phil, Jessie and Alma are seriously the Fantastic 5! Ryan the owner has created an oasis of peace and fun in a rather turbulent world and I’m forever grateful for the work he is doing for the local community. Folks get to Fire and Ice asap and check out how amazing this place is!!
