Fair Game – Downers Grove

Tom is the reason I will not return to this chain, on the surface he seems nice and friendly but his customer service needs major improvement. Short, secretive seeming answers and refuses to hold items. He needs to recognize and work with customers who spend $500+ a month that will now go elsewhere. Morgan is great but Tom screws the whole thing up, at least for me. Enjoy the loss of $500+/month because of him.....

Fair Game, Downers Grove, offers a wide variety of table top games. I have purchased games for my family and for my classroom. The employees are super knowledgeable and can always help me find just the right game. I love this place!

As someone who has been a big supporter of Fair game for over a decade, I was very disappointed with my most recent purchase when finding out that the box of cards I wanted to buy was almost double MSRP. I understand that all business needs to keep the lights on but I really am struggling to understand why anyone feels that those prices are fair. I have always paid 15-20$ more for products here because I believe that having an LGS is important, but things like this erode the trust I have and the goodwill I have built with this business.

We love Fair Game Lagrange. My daughter has been part of their weekly D&D league and absolutely loves it. The staff is so nice and attentive. This is our go to local spot for games and getting gifts for our friends.

I called the Fair Game DG store to verify an item in stock listed online. A older Kickstarter I missed out on. It was a very big one. Dan at the store was very helpful and made sure they had it still. I placed my order online and in like 3 days I received my 3 huge packages and 55.7lbs of game! The amount of excitement I had is only measurable explained by how I felt as a kid at Christmas. It was everything I wanted. I am still excited writing this review. Everything came exactly as it would have right from Kickstarter! Price was not set well within the reasonable side and even shipping those 3 huge boxes was fair. Unfortunately, I live about 7+ hours away or I would feequent this store. Having something like a Kickstarter top pledge item in stock well after it was over, well I could only imagine the fun things in their stores. If you live around these folks go buy stuff. Or if you see something instock on their online store. Buy it! 10/10 will check here again for rare items.
