Fable Lane Books

Friendly, welcoming environment with cool inventory and staff that is clearly happy to be there! Well worth the visit

While I did like the merch selection, the pro queer environment, and the polite staff, i can’t get over the abundant use of AI. From the AI wall “art” to some of the books having AI art on them, I can’t in good faith support a book store that encourages something that destroys artist’s/author’s careers and harms our environment so detrimentally. To anyone who doesn’t support AI, be aware before buying from the store. The reason it’s three stars is because we need more pro-queer spaces in the Owosso/Corunna area and if it weren’t for the AI it would’ve been a store i would happily do my business in.

This is a really nice little place. I actually came out here to go to Jellybeans, but ended up here. The selection is smaller, but still has great options. I was looking for older fantasy books/series and they have a lot of that! They have tables for gameplay and all sorts of things. They have a first time buyer discount which was cool as well. The price point is really nice too. The man I spoke with was very kind and courteous as well. I’ll absolutely be back here!

This used bookstore inspires you and brings on an unexpected nostalgic vibe that reminds you of what you treasured and missed the most in visiting an aesthetic, locally-owned, used bookstore from the past, that you didn't realize you missed; before everything in the experience of attending a bookstore. The honest appreciation & respect this bookstore became outsourced to a digital world. It is truly heartwarming. The nostalgia swallows you whole in every visit. You experience a welcoming and friendly invitation that leaves you browsing the store with an honest smile that just melts onto your face from the happiness you feel within and without initially realizing it. Fable Lane Bookstore has earned my Gold Star, A+, Award of Nostalgic Favorite Places to Check Out. It is well worth the visit. I highly recommend this place. I am impressed. Each visit leaves me feeling fortunate & grateful that I was blessed to have that experience in my younger days, but with excitement and enthusiasm to know there's a place where I can share that experience presently with my children.

As soon as we walked in we were and asked if it was our first time in. He then proceeded to tell us that there were discounts for first time visitors and directed us to each part of the store where everything was very nice. Very courteous I honestly can't remember the last time. Somebody was so courteous to us in a book and game store. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that's into card games. D&D action figures, manga, comic books, etc Some neat items and we ended up buying a figure at a very good discount The store was up kept. Everybody was very nice. There were comic books, regular books, figures and D&D stuff paints for models etc
