Escape Odyssey

Love our local gaming store! The Owner and Staff are extremely friendly and patient with my son just getting into pokemon collecting/trading. Very helpful and a fun place to go to. We will be back! -(J)

So grateful to have Escape Odyssey right here in Elk River. The way they treat my kids with genuine kindness and respect, every single time, means more than I can put into words. They’ve built something really special here, a space where people of all ages and interests can come together and just belong. We are a multi-hobby household and this place holds us all: one kid deep in Pokémon, one who dabbles in Lorcana, a husband who loves everything we love, and me happily browsing the board games both new and old. It’s also a great spot to make a whole day of it. We love pairing a visit to Escape Odyssey with the bookstore, candy shop, and antique store, and if all that shopping makes you hungry, you’re just steps from delicious pizza at Pompeii or fresh bread at Diamond City (my kids will always find a reason to grab a baguette). Thank you to the owners and staff for knowing my kids by name, for seeing them, and for making Elk River a little more magical because you’re in it.

Genuinely some of the kindest staff I have ever met. My husband and I come here regularly and for good reason. They are always helpful in answering questions. We typically visit regarding Magic the Gathering. The staff truly build connections with customers and it always feels so welcoming there. Would give more stars if I could :)

It was my first time checking this place out. I’ve been on the hunt for the last 4 hours trying to find Pokemon cards for my 7 year old son as he’s just getting into the hobby. To my surprise I struck out at every single place. Except here! The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and so kind! This place is so cool and set up very nice. I ended up buying 4 packs of the escape odyssey double rare or better packs for my son. The gentleman then gave me some stickers, a jumbo card, a scraggy and yanma card some plastic pokemon coins, a mini binder, and a pack of obsidian flames for him to open! This made my day and is especially going to make my sons day when he gets home from school and gets to open these packs! I will be back with my son to learn how to play pokemon and to buy some more cards! Thank you so much for being so kind and allowing my son to continue with his new journey into pokemon. He’s only opened two packs ever so this is really awesome. When I tell you this guy loves what he does and just wants kids to be able to enjoy pokemon too it’s an understatement. Absolute blast! Took six 12 year old girls for my daughter birthday. They had so much fun and we got out of the room (with lots of help). Cant wait to go back!
