Dr Volts

I've been here a couple of times with my DnD group! The array of games is very good, and there's a huge comic section. Great place for nerds with somewhat affordable prices. (For entire board games)

Today was my first time at Dr. Volts and I'll definitely be back! It's been a while since I've played at a game night. I went and picked up a new starter deck with the help of an amazing sales associate! I am very excited to go back and play on Monday nights! The sales associate who helped me was fantastic and I felt very welcomed.

Go for comics (although selection is limited), but not Magic or Pokémon cards. They charge Market Value when it’s over MSRP, but then don’t when it’s lower. Example, a commander deck that’s $30 Market they are selling for $59, but had others at Market Value because they were higher than MSRP. They only do 25% cash and 50% store credit for trade ins, which is really low. If you want a box of cards, they charge you per pack, not box rate. And again pricing here was overly expensive. There are just so many other amazing LGSs that aren’t trying to rip you off. I gave them a two cause their comics were priced right. They were also running a give away that looked like clearance items that weren’t selling, trying to get you to increase your spending to be entered. Vibe was also super weird. Will never go again.

They are the most respectful, and kind people. They are always willing to help you find what you came to look for, and have great comics. I am sad that they moved, because they used to be much closer to where I live, but it's cool to see them trying to expand. Highly recommend, and I go every year for my Birthday. Best tradition I have.

What a GREAT store. Super fun. This is the comic book store from every movie! Pokemon, pops, and every other geek paraphernalia in existence. Great comic collection. Amazing funko collection. They also buy from customers. Lots of pokemon and collectors merc. Ton of cult classic merchandise. Fun store. We will be back. Service was also good.
