Dogmud Tavern

This restaurant was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have an assortment of games available to play while dining, waiting, or before/after a meal. The atmosphere gave off a 80s vibe with a twist of today’s vibes as well. The items on the menu had their own twist. Everyone enjoyed their meals and time in the establishment. It’s definitely a place to try.

We stopped at Dogmud Tavern while driving from St. Louis to New Orleans and were genuinely impressed. Located just off the highway, it’s incredibly convenient—but what really sets it apart is the atmosphere. The interior feels like stepping into a fantasy world—think Lord of the Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, and Harry Potter all blended together. It’s immersive, creative, and thoughtfully done without feeling over-the-top. Great food, solid drinks, and a vibe that makes you want to linger. This is the kind of place that turns a quick stop into a memorable part of the trip. Try the Butter Beer!

Very cool space! Trivia Thursdays are very popular and pack out so get there early! The menu is so clever but can be overwhelming. It takes a while to get through, but they offer a wide range of dishes that peak the curiosity. I just made happy hour, $3 off certain drink lists. My favorite thing was the tater tots taco with the yummy sauce. The MeMaws chicken sandwich was dressed well but the patty was small. Service was great and they know their menu and make great recommendations. This is a place you'll keep coming back!

Absolutely love Dogmud Tavern. The food is fantastic with options for gluten free and vegetarian. I also love that they have zero-proof mocktails, since I can't drink. Plus the game corner, events, and overall vibe of so fun. Highly recommend people check it out, especially if they enjoy puns, pop culture, and card or board games.

I didn't get a picture of the mac and cheese and pizza in time, but you can tell by the pic I did get that they were really good. Lol. I don't usually care for pizza, but the pizza sauce here is really good. I had the veggie Toto Potato taco and oh my goodness!!! SOOOO good! 20/10!! The atmosphere is great, the servers are great. Just an awesome place to come and enjoy your family in a place where they actually want to put their phones down!! Make a visit, you won't be disappointed!!
