DMDave's Books and Games

Justin is awesome. Took my boyfriend on a date for our first visit and we had $20 to make decks. I don’t know anything really about magic (just love opening blind packs), but he helped a lot with building a deck for me. Seemed knowledgeable and helped me understand a lot more. Super welcoming and will be coming back soon for some events he told me about :)

This place is utter garbage, some of my friends are all adults and have medical marijuana cards which is perfectly legal within Oklahoma, none of them ever smoked within the confines of the shop, they would smoke before leaving to meet up for our campaign and show up, and just the smell caused them to tell us to leave despite the fact that they never smoked in their shop and it is legal for them to smoke because of their medical card, just my friends smelling like weed was enough to cause them to force us out, they have lost the business of me and all of my friends, 7 or 8 people who all shopped at their location who will never be back. It isn't illegal to smell like Marijuana, yeah they have the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason and we have the right not to give them our business.

No sooner than I typed my review I got to meet Daryl of DMDave's! He took the time to chat with me as I was outside waiting for another business to open, which I very much appreciated. He let me know that they do a ton of their communication via their Discord server as well as Facebook. They've got an active community of gamers and ensure the store remains a positive space for all players. Good ages are from 10-14 y/o and up. This is exactly the kind of place you want your kids spending their time. I ended up getting two different board games for my kids (who are probably still a bit young at this point for game nights), and I'm excited to break them out this summer!

We spent a greater part of Saturday there during there grand opening. We played Kill Team in the back and the staff and owner was very engaging. It's really a top notch game store. Best selection of RPG's I have seen in Oklahoma ever. Rivals Madness in Plano easily. The house terrain is in good shape and plentiful. We ran out of markers for Kill Team and they happily supplied us with alternatives. My group plans on making this our go to for Kill Team in 2024.

Great local hobby shop! Super friendly staff! They have models, paints, books, comic books, etc. & host tabletop gaming. Gps was a little off. Pull into the bowling alley parking lot & the store is on the right, around the corner, same building.
