Dane's Games West Chicago

Dane's Games West Chicago was great! I wanted to learn MTG and J spent over an hour teaching me how to play and answering all my questions and walking me through a game. Everyone else at the store was also very welcoming and it was a fun environment. Liam and the others were great! I hope to come back!

Phenomenal experience overall! Staff was pleasant and extremely kind! Stumbled into this place after a not so great experience at another shop nearby and so glad we did! It happened to be a trade day for them and we met tons of great people in the community and even won a beach towel I’ve been wanting so badly from a raffle and found some vintage cards I’ve been looking for myself and others! Pricing was extremely fair and the entire experience was amazing. If we’re ever in the area again, we are definitely stopping HERE! 🫶🏻

I recently went here on a Friday to buy a one piece trading card game starter pack I have to say the atmosphere there is very nice cashier seemed like a genuinely nice dude I hope to come back again soon to maybe buy something else like a binder or get into the hobby of playing Pokemon or one piece or learn to play anyways i hope to buy from this place again someday or soon

I’ve been disappointed by multiple card shops over the years, but my recent conversation with Dane, the owner of Danes Games in West Chicago, was completely different. He treated me with genuine respect and kindness, with zero judgment. I did not sense even a hint of greed in him, which is extremely rare in this industry. He has high integrity and is clearly a good person. For anyone looking for trading cards or supplies, I would strongly encourage you to support this local businessman over the big chain stores. He’s the real deal. I’ll definitely be giving him my business going forward.

Danes Games treats their customers like family. They have everything you can expect and more from cards to board games. I was never a board game person until coming to Danes Games. One worker in particular, Liam, is the kindest and chillest person ever; always ready to help for the things I'm looking forward. Even going to Pokemon events, Liam is always there with the best customer service and iconic voice saying: "Pokemon Players are you ready!" Danes Games also has the best luck when it comes to opening Pokemon!
