Dandar's Boardgames and Books

Really cool game store! Love going here, super friendly staff

Great board game store! The owner is really friendly and they have a ton of interesting board games, books, dice, etc. They have a few Magic The Gathering packs available which I appreciate, and plenty of sleeves / deck boxes. Super great fantasy/roleplay books and board game selection. Everything you could want! If you're in Arcata come check here and support this awesome local spot before buying online :)

Dandar's is now temporarily toward the back of Jacoby's Storehouse (Suite 8). They have a mini version of their store set up, with plenty of games and books to keep you entertained for the few months until they are in their new space!

This store has a great selection of board games, books, dice, miniatures, card game accessories, and paints! I go here at least once every couple months to pick up something for one of my nerdy hobbies. The owner is super friendly, and is always happy to answer questions. The prices are nice and reasonable. I find myself wishing that, alongside packs of cards and accessories for the game, the store would sell magic the gathering singles. It would be cool to have somewhere in Arcata that caters to the mtg community here, since otherwise the closest place is in Eureka.

Great selection! Manga, novels, card games, board games, miniatures for tabletop games, dice of all kinds. They even have a section for discount games and games for 2 players!
