Went there recently because I wanted to see if they actually did decent prices on rare cards and to be honest your better off holding them and grading them one of my card I brought in was worth 260 with out grading and about 1k if it can back as an 8 for that card and 7 others the offered me 120 now I understand how things work quite well but that's Bs and you guys know it as well as I do what you did was try to take advantage of some one who you thought didn't know what they had to be clear this was a test I won't usually go to shops I'm a big poke collector have been since 99 I just get them online normally but some one said they were great nope they were wrong if you looking for a great place the game and buy cards you found it but either sell your own cards online or send them to get graded so not come here !!!

Great local card store for lots of different types of trading cards, with great customer service too. Reasonable prices and a nice environment to play or open some packs.

The business its self is great. So I will give the business its self a 5 star! My gripe/issue is with a particular staff member. Dylan. Every time I come in or call and he answers hes shitty and seems to talk down his nose at me. My first interaction with him was about 2 or 3 months ago when I first started coming in. He has the complete opposite attitude of someone who should be in customer service. I've never seen the man smile, but regardless. Every interaction I've had with Dylan has left me leaving the store feeling like an idiot. For pre-release I called the store back to back (2 times) once to ask if they were carrying Phantasmal Flames and a second time to check on the limit and to see if my wife and I could both buy some packs. Full disclosure, they were still closed at the time but there were employees in the store. So I called in hopes someone would answer. Well Dylan did and he was obviously bothered. If the problem was me calling before open, then dont answer the phone. Not my problem. Two there was absolutely 0 enthusiasm in his voice (not that that's a gripe in its self, just an observation) but his tone came off very rude. Then at the end of the 2nd call he rudley asked me "is that all you need this time" obviously irritated that i called back to back. Fast forward to today (and I apologize as I dont remeber his name) a taller gentleman asks me if im looking for anything in particular. I ask for phantasmal, before the gentleman can even answer me Dylan responds yet again in a rude tone "NOPE" aggressively and rudely in my opinion. Meanwhile Dylan was leaned up with his back against the wall and his nose in his phone. The taller gentleman could have answered my questions as he was the one I was doing business with. Again the business its self is amazing. I love that they have limits and keep the scalpers out. But im tired of being treated like im another scalper by Dylan. I come in rip my cards and collect my shit. I come in often to sell singles and immediately put that money into more packs. Im to the point where I'll continue to go to other card stores in the area unless Dylan can learn how to be in costumer service. Because in my opinion he is a jerk.

Pricing can seem a bit off with some of their products, came in and bought a foundations booster display box since a lot of cards were interesting to me as a newer MTG player with that set. There was a strange interaction between workers where one thought the price was $150 while the other worker interjected saying the price for them is $175. I unfortunately didn’t check to see what the market price was beforehand and thought the price would be fair given it being a local card shop. Later I checked online and noticed the market price being almost $45 less than what I paid. Not sure if it’s was a mistake, taking advantage of a newer magic player, or just being overpriced but definitely lost myself as a repeat customer. Post-review edit: Moved the review to a 4 star since I can see where the gaming store is coming from their perspective. I think I’ll just stick to new releases and singles for what i buy from D20

Immediately stepping in, I noticed there was a problem. I did get a "hello," so that must be about the bare minimum the management asks for. The guy at the register was busy looking through cards, not even raising his head, asked if I could be helped. I told him I'd like to see what stuff they had on their wall, but after a short time, I noticed they only had one left of what I was looking for. I asked if there would be any restock of the product, and still having his head buried into his cards, proceeded to be rude and explain how stupid my question was. He "explained," how ridiculous it was to ask for a product that is "old and out of print," and will NEVER be restocked anywhere. I left rather insulted about yhe way he answered a question that could have been a simple, "I'll leave a message for my boss someone is looking for it." However, rather than waste my money here, Games By James got what i was looking for with ease. They might be a little more expensive, but at least I can save up points for more stuff later as well as be treated with a small amount of respect. Even Best Buy has been carrying this product off and on, far cheaper than the other two shops. At D20, I have no idea how many employees they have, but it makes no sense to have that many people behind the counter of a business. Back a number of years ago, we had game shops do that, just to have an employee and his friends steal from the business blindly. Management needs to either step in and be an adult with these kids or be an adult with their business.
