D-Generation Next Games

What a crappy place to go for a tournament. July 31st there was supposed to be a $300 grand prize but Chris, who was running the event, said there wasn't enough people to play for it so he decided to give people store credit instead without explaining. I played a little bit just to be curdious to the shop. Thing I noticed were there isn't a judge that is monitoring the players or interacting with the players for what was supposed to be a big event for magic. Then there is basically no ac in the building so your sweating while playing your game and the environment wasn't even competitive like people didn't know what passing priority was. I would not recommend going to their store for any events, most of their weekly events don't even fire anyways so you would just be wasting your time.

Store needs to implement a wash your ass before you’re allowed in, jeez nerds, wash up before you venture out!!

Went in to pull bulk and buy some other items on the only day I was able to visit before going back to North Carolina. The store workers/owners felt that having their D&D game on the bulk pick table was the best choice and anyone wanting to look through bulk would interrupt their game and they couldn’t do it anywhere else. Worker said they play every Sunday and bulk pick isn’t allowed then, but a schedule with that on it is not posted anywhere that anyone would know that. The June calendar said nothing about D&D on Sundays. I’m all for letting people enjoy the game they want to play but to lose business over a game that wouldn’t have been interrupted by anyone pulling boxes quietly is absolutely absurd.

Great game store, friendly staff, and a good selection. Will definitely come back when I am in the area.

Everyone one there is always friendly from the staff to the customers. Always helping me out on trades and getting all the newest MTG sets.
