Employee was helpful. Prices for boosters of Marvel MTG were double what they are in Oregon before taxes. Perhaps they get charged more for ordering them or they gave me the haole price, I'm not sure. Decent selection for such a small place.

Crow's Nest is a great store for anyone's trading card game and board games needs. Visiting Kauai this week, I stopped in to play the Pokémon trading card game, with matches being best of 3 games. My entry was $10, and I paid it with their fair trade-in rate on one of my cards. Although a fairly small community for Pokémon, I hear that they have a larger one for Magic the Gathering. Both the staff and players that I met were very friendly and welcoming. All ages seem welcome there (kid-friendly) and the staff does a good job in keeping it that way. I enjoyed my time there and plan to visit again if I ever come back to Kauai!

Myself and my brother travel to card shops all around the world to check out the communities and build our mtg collection. We love the game and generally have nothing but good things to say about the shops we visit. Until we visited the crows nest in Lihue. This has to be the worst retail experience that both my brother and I have ever experienced. Not only did the employee/ owner appear doped out of his mind on some mystery substance (his eyes were literally rolling back in his head) but we politely inquired about selling a box topper we had pulled and after his offer I said I think I’ll keep the card in which he pointed to the door and said “well there’s the door”. My brother left immediately as it was totally disrespectful, and he said “well that guy left quickly” to which I replied well yeah you pretty much told us to leave, he again replied “yes you can leave there’s the door you are welcome to sell the card yourself” Never have I experienced such rude customer service and it’s no wonder HI is a Pokémon state if these are the people representing the mtg community. Do better man you and your store are an embarrassment to a generally amazing mtg community. If I could give lower than a 1 star I would, I’ll never return to this store, 0 aloha.

I came here looking for comic books. Although they didn't have a lot to pick from, I found a couple single issues and a trade paperback I havent read. This is primarily a card and boardgame shop for MTG and such. The girl working the front was friendly and helpful and I was told they hold tournaments for MTG. Sounds fun.

Clean, organized and well stocked shop with very very knowledgeable and friendly owner. Really good prices. Definitely prefer to buy here. I bought Pokemon cards, but they have a huge selection of other TCGs and board games.
