Went for a Warhammer 40k tournament and had a great time. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the event ran very smoothly. The local Warhammer community was very welcoming and friendly as well showing great sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Comix Zone is the best place in Syracuse to browse paper comics and collected volumes. On most evenings and weekends, plenty of table space in the back is taken with Warhammer or other miniatures games. The staff have great recommendations, and this is one of the few places in central New York that offer pull-lists or subscriptions of comics.

Nice clean store with a large selection of non-comic book stuff like models, masks and games. I wish it catered a little more to non-weird stuff, like carrying vintage kids comic books etc. I'd spend a fortune there if they did that.

I have shopped here since the mid-90s and have always had a good experience. There are so many back issues available, tons of new releases, and plenty of gaming, cards and toys as well. Some of the reviews here seem to be either misplaced (aimed at the wrong store) or made up to make the store and employees look bad. I have always known the employees and the owner to be helpful, knowledgeable and polite to anyone in the store. I have never heard them talk about customers or make rude comments.
