Comic Relief

Super knowledgeable and friendly. He knew exactly what area to look for the comics that I wanted. I come back almost every weekend and make a date out of it with my lady.

Just a great place to casually look around, and find something Great to read! He offers more than just comics!

Great store. I travel a lot for work and stop in comic book shops all over the country. This one is solid. Has current releases on Wednesday and is a friendly store!

Comic Relief isn’t just a comic shop—it’s Flint’s nerd sanctuary and my favorite weekly Wednesday stop. The shelves are stacked deep, from fresh weekly pulls to back issues that go way further back than you expect, basically covering everything from vintage classics to today’s hottest runs. Whether you’re hunting for a specific issue, flipping through graphic novels, or getting distracted by playing cards and collectibles, this place delivers. It’s not polished or corporate—and that’s exactly why it works. Comic Relief has that authentic, slightly chaotic, treasure-hunt vibe that makes local comic shops special. If you’re in Flint and even remotely into comics or collectibles, skipping this place would be a mistake.

Started collecting comic books again and found this place, which is a short distance from me. The owner is friendly and helpful. Helped me set up monthly subscriptions with the comics I plan on grabbing monthly. Will definitely be back, monthly.
