We got married in Taneytown in May 2026 and had our welcome party on Friday night at City Park Game & Brewing. We had an excellent experience! We are gamers and love craft beer, and having one of our wedding events here let us bring out that quirky side of our personalities and share it with our guests. The price was extremely fair, especially since we had the place to ourselves for the whole night. The staff was very accommodating and helpful at letting us rearrange tables to make the space more open for the ~100 guests we were expecting. Not to mention – the beer is great! We had a great time and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to rent out the space for a private party!

Great hidden spot in downtown Westminster. Business owners appreciates your business and there is a feeling of belonging when you come in. Selection of beer is outstanding and has many different options that would satisfy any need. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a spot to grab a quick one or hang out for a while.

Actually a GOATED spot. It genuinely feels like a little community. Wednesdays is open mic night so multiple groups perform. I went for the first time last week and i swear almost everyone there introduced themselves to me. The beer was really good and the vibes were immaculate. Come out to play games listen to music and have a good time!

By far the best draft and can beer selection in the area. Not even close. Great for a beer there or carry out. 15 taps of excellent choices with something for everyone. IPAs, lagers, ciders, meads, stouts, sours, they’ve got it all either on tap or in cans. Carries the top craft brewers, especially the east coast. Other Half, RaR, Veil, Maine, WeldWerks, Finback, Sapwood, Elder Pine, Hop Butcher, Imprint, etc. Has events for live music, open mic jams, karaoke, trivia, magic the gathering, D&D, and board games. A wide selection of free demo board games to play while you enjoy a beer. Also sells a wide array of vinyl records. Friendly staff and the owners are super cool. Bring your own food but they do have chips, pretzels, and meats sticks for snacks. An absolute hidden gem. 10/10, would recommend.

We drove 50 minutes just to visit this place. So cool. It’s small, but it has the BEST selection of craft beer I’ve seen on this side of the Chesapeake Bay. Not too busy on a Friday, and they have open mic nights on Wednesdays. Records, table top games, card packs, and snacks for sale. A great place to hang for sure. And the bartender was super nice and had great recommendations. Would 100% return.
