Chupacabra Games

This place is not the move. Played here at a few locals, it’s just not a good venue and the person running it is pretty rude. Also, they violated the PlayPokemon terms and conditions regarding the pre-release events. Every store I have attended a pre release event to has provided 1 build and battle kit AND 3 additional packs for participating for $30. Those are the terms and conditions the store MUST follow in order to even receive the products. This store violated that, by charging more and not providing the obligated 3 packs following the event. Edit: after their unprofessional response, I lowered my review to 1/5. I’ve reported this store to PlayPokemon alongside screenshots and their response. They agree that there’s a violation and action will be taken. Stay away from this place!

I wasn’t impressed with my experience at this store. The Pokémon section felt disorganized, and the pricing seemed inconsistent, which made shopping frustrating. Customer service wasn’t very helpful, and I didn’t feel welcomed. The store was also much louder than I expected, with a lot of profanity while I was there. I also wasn’t happy with the trade values that were offered. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this store to Pokémon collectors based on my experience. Don’t go here not a good place nor environment very very bad

Chupacabra game is one of the best card shops I've been to in the my life. Great selection of Magic the Gathering and Pokemon and Warhammer. It has the friendliest staff and the people who come here to play every week are really nice too

Solid card shop, fair with sealed pricing as well as singles. Have been going there for prerelease and commandter events and its always a fun time. I would advise prepaying for events as they fill quickly.

Wow, what an incredible experience! I recently dove into Magic: The Gathering a month ago and stumbled upon this amazing store through the Companion app. As soon as I walked in, I was met with an incredibly friendly staff eager to help! I was excited about the new expansion, Edge of Eternities, releasing in just two weeks. They not only guided me through all the fantastic products available but also ensured I could secure my preorder at unbeatable prices—everything at MSRP, no crazy markups like other shops around! Their hospitality blew me away! Two days later, I jumped into a Chocobo racing draft, and what an unforgettable experience that was! The atmosphere was electric, filled with prizes, promos, and a thrilling raffle! I was surrounded by seasoned players who were skilled, incredibly welcoming, and patient with me as a newcomer, showcasing the fantastic community they’ve built in the store. But that’s not all! We capped off the night with a midnight draft that was honestly one of a kind! Mike, one of the owners, was phenomenal throughout the entire event. Juggling moderating the draft, customer support, and sharing about the store’s weekly schedule and upcoming events while maintaining a fantastic vibe, even at 3 in the morning! I can’t wait to pick up my preorder and dive into more events at this gem of a store! Huge thanks to Mike and Chupacabra Games for making my first draft such a memorable adventure!
