We have a small card group that plays on Wednesday nights and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a large selection of comics, games, and RPG and TCG games to play.

The store has a great selection of magic singles at fair prices. Seems like they have a lot of in person play events. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. They had a bunch of different products from tcgs, general boardgames, dnd books, comic books, miniatures and paints.

A great resource for gamers of all sorts, from TTRPG to LARP, along with board games, comics, and some amazing artwork. I haven't seen that many Shadowrun books in one place in decades, and that was just a small subset of their selection!

Most of my past experiences here have been good, but something very frustrating happened today. I went in to trade a Gold Gardevoir card from the Mega Evolutions set that is worth a little over $200. A staff member with glasses told me the card “wasn’t real” and then said it was “gold-plated,” which was confusing and hard to follow. I bought the pack from this store originally, so being told it might not be legitimate didn’t make sense to me. It also seemed like there wasn’t much knowledge about Pokémon cards, which was disappointing considering trading cards are a big part of the business. Another employee then came over and said they couldn’t take the card because items over $200 are “too hard to move.” I wasn’t trying to sell it for cash — I was simply asking for a trade of similar value (my Gardevoir for a $200 Golem). From my perspective, that wouldn’t leave the store in a worse position since it would still be one high-value card either way. I understand stores have policies about high-value items, but the communication felt dismissive and unclear. Pokémon collecting and trading is supposed to be fun, and this interaction made it feel more about money than community or customer service.

Really fun game and comic shop. I'm more of a comic reader -- the game section is big and had a range of new and used/vintage games, though I can't assess it as well. The comic section is really nice -- bins of back issues in the back room, new comics on the racks and a good few shelves of trade paperbacks and graphic novels. A fine shop!
