Cards On 6th

I was referred by a friend and it was worth checking out. I mean, it had so much to check out! I think there may have been a Pokémon league and/or trading going on earlier in the day. The one thing that stuck out to me were the prices, and how high they were over market value. I 100% totally understand the need to for an increase, but it is a bit more than I am willing to spend regularly on a hobby. When it comes to these small specialty shops, the most important thing for me is how welcome I feel, the attentiveness for my interests, and the small talk involved. As a first timer in the store I expected a bit more interaction especially since it was not busy at the time. When I needed to ask questions, I had to reach out to the clerk and the responses felt a bit short. My favorite shops are eager to know what I'm interested in or looking for, as well as want to discuss the hobby when they're not so busy. I'm sure I'll return to the shop to give it another try soon. I totally understand that everyone has off days, so I'll update if my next experience feels more welcoming. But all in all I give it 4🌟.

So happy and proud to be a member of this stores community. Bryan and Bethany have been monumental in providing Lancaster with a place for every cardboard fan to go and enjoy themselves. I’ve played a lot of Magic here since they started doing events, from commander, to pre release, draft, and pauper and I always have a phenomenal experience. John is a great TO and extremely knowledgeable about the game. I’ll see you at the next FNM!

The owners are very committed creating a positive atmosphere for everyone , no matter the Hobby . This is the Lgs that Lancaster has needed for a very long time

I’ll start with the good, great selection and overall good staff. We had a bad experience today because someone cancelled a preorder for strixhaven and we were told we could get it while in shop. I had to work today and my wife went to pick up the cards. We were not informed when we paid that we had to play in an event today to pick the cards up or that we couldn’t pick up until 430 today. My wife informed me that while staff did refund us they were less than friendly about the experience even though we weren’t informed of the stipulations to buy the set. It soured a good experience from the day before where we were super happy with the selection and the shop.

This local game store has a great selection of Magic The Gathering sealed product. 30+ different sets to choose from. Has three four row boxes of bulk commons and uncommon 5 Cards for $1. Big highlight is the huge backroom play area with Playstations along the wall and some arcade games. Definitely will be back and support this LGS.
