CardMaster Hobbies

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CARDS AT THIS STORE AND DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PROPERTY. My fiance and I brought our magic the gathering collection to see if this store would want to buy. This was august 28th, they said the cards would be done either that night or the next afternoon. Well, they kept our cards for a week. That was the first red flag. Then, when my fiance went to pick up the cards/or make a deal, the COLLECTION WAS LAYING OUT SPRAWLED OUT ON THE TABLES WHILE FNM WAS HAPPENING. This is insane to me, he then yelled at his son that he cant leave the cards out, because obviously, that is horrifically unprofessional. That was the second red flag. Then, he told my fiance that the cards wouldnt be ready for another two hours, and to come back later. We do not live here, and had to drive 40 mins home and come back later that night. Third red flag. fourth red flag, they lowballed us extremely. We told the owner we would not take less than 3k for what we brought, and he offered 2650 for everything, I just took my collection to an amazing store, Through The Decades, and they appraised the entire collection between 7k-8k. They NEVER had any interest in buying our collection, completely wasted our time. When she took the cards, he said "this was a great training experience for us." (Refferring to his employees.) This is a very stange thing to say when you've kept our collection for a week. FIFTH RED FLAG. Then, something really disrespectful happened. The owner noticed a lot of the players paying special attention to my fiance. He offered her an under the table job as a "manager." This made her feel extremely uncomfortable. We just got home from a small vacation to see her dad in Indiana, and when someone met us up to buy the cards that night getting home, there is nearly a full set of zendikar expedition fetch lands in foil GONE. I just spoke to the Glasgow police last night, officer Pendley, and sadly he made us aware that they cannot do anything as it is a "civil" matter. I reached out to the owner and he IMMEDIATELY went to calling us scammers and insulting us. I have screenshots of this. I have just submitted a serious eport to wizards and will be following up with some higher ups in the company that I know personally. This is disgusting behavior from a business and I would not trust them at all. If interested, I can send screenshots of everything, including videos of the cards I brought in, the cards missing, the listings of the cards I had on mercari that went missing that I put on vacation when we took the cards there, the way the owner responded, everything. We WILL be filing a small claims court case as soon as the courthouse opens.

Amazing place super nice staff. However, they didnt have as many basketball cards as I was expecting but I understand it because they're newer but in a few months I'll come back and they will have more of a variety. I did still get a few card for amazing prices
