Really cool comic shop that reminded me scenes out of the 40’s and 60’s in which the shop was next to the neighborhood diner with a soda fountain. I could imagine kids waiting outside the shop with their quarter in hand to buy the newly issued edition of a comic book and rereading it for hours with their friends at the park while oldies music is playing “contemporary for them at the time”. Maybe I’m mixing up genres but this comic book shop transported me back in time. I loved the layout of the shop and the throwback feel. The comics were sorted neatly and the Pokémon cards were in alphabetical order. That’s pretty hard core. I enjoyed the back room and seeing local Boise artists and their work on display. As I’m not a comic book collector I’ve visited many for fun. I loved seeing an Adventure Time comic book and would have geeked out over some Ed Piskor work since I’m from Seattle. Great service by the staff behind the counter. I appreciated that the staff person shared with my boys who are 7 to respect the cards. I like this as it speaks volumes to a time and place regarding card and comic book etiquette that hardly exists anymore. 5 stars.

I've been shopping here for almost a decade and they have always done a great job keeping the store clean and organized! There backstock is always full, staff is amazing and great membership too. It really is the best comic shop in the Treasure Valley!

Used to like this place but today I’m 100% done. I don’t know what the problem was, but the owner had a little bit of an attitude going on or so it seemed maybe it wasn’t his day maybe he tired. Anyway, I asked for amazing Spider-Man usually they have a long row of higher number books and there was about 5 left, so I made a joke about someone buying a long row of spidey… he said what do you mean… I said well the box is gone… he said ya well they sell… I then replied yep Spider-Man is popular… he then stated he got a collection and would try and reload later… I get it he’s busy the hobby is popular his store is popular… but he went in the back and read off the numbers he got when I asked if there was any pre 100 issues he said he had 3… I ask to see them, and it seemed he ignored me or may have even of not heard me, so I asked again and he kinda waved his hand at me and was like well there in box and no…. Ok why did you even tell me then? I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars here and every time I’m here, I always ask for pre 100 Spider-Man I leave name number and everything and always tell them cash is not a problem and I ALWAYS get yo-yo’d….. its always we will keep you in mind I’ll let you know and excuse excuse and nothing … I’m tired of the disrespect and lack of help when it comes to what I want to buy in his store… I will not be coming back and hopefully they can get their stuff together…. I spent 300 ish in the store today and that was my last transaction… I was so bothered I wanted to just leave the books on the counter…. I was even ready to buy everything he had for whatever he wanted cash in hand… Edit: yo-yo IE: you say something and did another and then repeated the process to me on several occasions. Which I never took to heart just sucked. I have never discounted the work any one has done in the store, and it has never gone unappreciated. I run my own business and served my country and honor, respect, and truth is important to me. I have no reason to lie about how I felt my experience went. Truly I am sorry if how my feeling made everyone else mad to. Feel free to go over your surveillance footage at any time I wouldn’t say anything that wasn’t true. I called the store to let them know my review I left is not a lie, I have no reason to lie and look at their footage and they were bothered I even called back.

I want people to be very careful with what they try to collect here. As a buyer, seller, and trader @ eBay johnki63, I was very disappointed in buying Spawn 24 & 51 both labeled N/M at $8 and $10. Both have numerous ticks, ripples of front and back covers. I understand that we take a risk of open box selection, but we should be able to open them in the store to get a better look. Also, don't sell there either, you will only get 2/3 of the last selling price for any you bring in. I will not be doing business there again.

Very organized. Eagerly helpful and friendly staff. Good variety of comic back issues. Loved the discounted prices listed on the books. Fun $1 and $0.50 bins. Older books and keys are stored in back… ask for their inventory book to review their honey stock. Highly recommended.
